President

Why I Joined RYP:
RYP enticed me with its perfect harmony of networking styles and interesting, like-minded people. The members of RYP are energetic and passionate, and the intrinsic synergy of the social and professional development events is unparalleled in our town.

Bio:
Although I’m not a Rochester native, I’ve come to consider this great city my home. I grew up in a small town south of Buffalo, and after receiving my BA at SUNY Geneseo, I relocated to Rochester along with my dog. I couldn’t be happier with the vibrant community and endless supply of events. I was ecstatic to discover an active volleyball community and strong music scene right in the heart of the city.

When I’m not developing my financial advisement practice with Morgan Stanley or attending RYP events, you’ll probably find me at Hot Shots or playing at one of the local venues. And I’m always trying to squeeze in a few more peaks along my trek to be an Adirondack 46er. Whether your motivation is social or professional, please introduce yourself and I’ll be happy to share some more.

Why I Joined RYP:
I joined RYP to connect with other like-minded people in Rochester to help impact the community in a positive way. I believe there is a mutual benefit between the city of Rochester and RYP by giving us opportunities to connect with each other. I want to be a part of that.

Bio:
I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009 with a BFA from the School of Design and a minor in Marketing. I've leveraged my design and marketing education by co-founding a digital design agency here in Rochester, called Makeway. I love working with local companies as they allow me the opportunity to meet new people and work personally with smart business owners.

I've had the opportunity to live in a few different cities both in the US and in Canada growing up and now calling Rochester my home. I played hockey for 15 years and now play recreationally every week in addition to running and working out in the gym. Be sure to say hi at the next RYP event!

Working in real estate, understanding the businesses, the people and the neighborhoods in the community is imperative. RYP creates the platform for me to do this. I absolutely love getting to know fellow Rochestarians, hearing their stories and finding ways to work together. My other passions include spending time with my incredible family and my phenomenal friends, coaching and playing lacrosse and teaching my Boot Camp class at the RAC. When you come to an RYP event, come find me and I’ll be sure to help you make the business connections you’re looking for!

Why I Joined RYP:
When I moved to Rochester in 2012, I knew very few people here and knew very little about the city. After law school, I moved to Rochester to pursue my current job as an employment attorney at Littler Mendelson, P.C.
