Social media is changing the way companies recruit and hire new employees. In 2015, a survey by the Society for Human Resource Management indicated 84 percent of employers used social media to vet job candidates. Your social accounts need to be as strong as your resume and cover letter. We’ll talk about how to make that happen, and look at some examples.

In addition, we will take it a step further and examine how creating your own website might be a way to help you stand out in a pile of resumes and cover letters. We’ll discuss some ways to brand yourself, for little or no cost, with a multimedia “resume.”
