Join RocCity Coalition and Rochester Young Professionals for the next RocIDEA Connection. This event will be a thought-provoking and engaging community driven workshop on intersectional feminism. Through presentation, Q&A, and small group discussion this workshop will unpack the concepts of identity, intersectionality and feminism through a historical, political, and social lense. The workshop will challenge participants to explore and analyze their internal biases and identities and examine how all active feminists can be more inclusive and intersectional in their practice. This workshop will be facilitated by Mercedes Phelan, Lead Organizer Citizen Action of New York – Rochester Chapter and Calvin Eaton, Founder 540WMain Communiversity. This event is open to adults of all ages and gender expressions. If you need assistance with childcare during this event, please email email@example.com. Networking begins at 6 pm and the facilitated workshop promptly at 6:30 pm. Space is limited and we will fill all of the seats, so please only RSVP if you can stay from 6:30-8 pm. https://rocideafeminism.app.rsvpify.com/
