$10Join RYP for a special holiday tour of the George Eastman Museum and the museum’s featured exhibits!
Get in the holiday spirit as our guide takes us through the historic, festively decorated mansion and provides insight on the life and legacy of George Eastman. We will then enjoy a tour of the featured exhibits. About the exhibits:
– Sweet Creations: This annual display features dozens of cleverly designed and deliciously decorated gingerbread houses, all of which are available for purchase through a silent auction.
– Catherine Opie: 700 Nimes Road, presents photos over the course of six months at the residence of Elizabeth Taylor in Bel Air, California.
– A Matter of Memory: Photography as Object in the Digital Age
With the convenience of computers and smartphones, this exhibit explores how the majority of photographic images are recorded digitally rather than on film.
– Focus 45: Mexico and the Photographic Imagination
Heather Shannon explores the history of photography starting from photographs made in Mexico in 1839.
