RockVentures and RYP Outdoor Recreation have teamed up to plan a great night of indoor climbing in downtown Rochester. RockVentures, North America’s largest indoor climbing and high ropes course, offers 18,000 square feet of rock climbing surface and we will have the opportunity to climb all of it May 3rd.
Join us May 3rd from 6pm-8pm for a night of learning “the ropes” and pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone.

Want a FREE 2 week pass to RockVentures and to climb for FREE May 3rd? The first 15 people who sign up to belay will receive belay/rope holder training certification, 2 hours of belaying and climbing, a 2 week pass to RockVentures, and one admission to return to climb again, all for FREE.
Belayers are REQUIRED to be available 4:45pm-8pm Wednesday May 3rd and willing to belay for a group of 5-7 people (2 belayers will be assigned to each group so that you also have the opportunity to climb). Belay Training will begin promptly at 4:45pm and all belayers are required to have submitted their RockVentures Liability Waiver before then and be present for the entirety of the certification process. Late arrivals will not be trained.

Looking forward to a night of climbing or can’t make belay training?
For $10, you will receive 2 hours of climbing on May 3rd as well as one FREE admission to return to climb again. Harnesses and Helmets will be provided, shoe rentals are available for $5
Payment will be made in cash the day of the event.

This Event is limited to 40 people. Sign Up to reserve your spot. (If you sign up and can no longer attend please email OutdoorRecreation@r-y-p.org ASAP as there will be a waitlist and we want to make sure everyone has a chance to climb.
No Alcohol is allowed at this event. After climbing, feel free to head over to the bar at HotShots for some refueling.
