Plans are under way for the 2017 Fairport Music Festival Friday and Saturday, Aug. 25-26th.

As we approach the 13th annual festival, we aim to provide all volunteers with a meaningful role that contributes to an efficient event in support of children and families in care at Golisano Children’s Hospital. The event is a great weekend of music and food, and has donated $1.1 million to the hospital!

The following volunteer positions are available on a first-come, first-serve basis:

Friday night:
Railroad lot
Ticket sales 4:30-7pm and 7-close
Beer tent 4-7pm and 7-close
Volunteer check-in 4-7pm

Saturday
Set-up
Ticket sales
Gate check
Volunteer check-in
Beer tents (FMC, Railroad and Canal stages)

We need to fill slots for each of these shifts:
9:00-12:00 (set-up only)
11:30-3:30
3:00-7:00
6:30-close

To sign up, email Kathy and Leslie at fmffvolunteers@gmail.com. Please indicate in your message that you are a Rochester Young Professionals (RYP) volunteer. They will try to accommodate your requested volunteer positions. If they ask you to fill an alternate role, we hope you will be flexible.

FMF volunteers enjoy free entrance to the festival and a t-shirt (while supplies last). Volunteers will receive their t-shirts as they check-in for their shift.
