RYP is excited to announce our 2018 Gala benefiting Make-A-Wish® Western New York! The gala is Friday, February 23rd at the Century Club of Rochester, directly across from the Strathallan. Our 2018 theme is Mad to Modern, a spin on the TV series Mad Men. We'll touch on Rochester innovations of technology, education and developments including commercial to residential areas, all of which make our city great.
There will be: valet parking, coat rooms, cash bar, raffles, DJ + dancing, and much, much more!
About Make-A-Wish®
Make-A-Wish® of WNY grants wishes to children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions who live in the 17 counties surrounding the Buffalo and Rochester areas. A wish experience can be a game-changer to a child; Make-A-Wish® serves a unique, and vital role in helping strengthen and empower the children battling their life-threatening medical conditions. There are four steps to granting a wish; each step builds on the next and creates amazing experiences that delight wish kids and their families. Fundraising is an important step. The RYP Gala raises awareness and funds to the WNY area of Make-A-Wish® serves. Please find your way to be involved first-hand.
About RYP
Rochester Young Professionals (RYP) is a not-for-profit organization whose primary mission is to support and promote local business and provide young professionals with a platform to expand their social and professional networks, collaborate with their peers and participate in career and community-building activities. RYP is the largest of the young professional organizations in Rochester, with over 5,000 members. 2017 will be our fourth annual gala. Over the past 3 years and 3 galas, RYP has raised thousands for local non-profit organizations. The event has previously been featured in the Channel 8 News, Democrat and Chronicle, Huge City, Freetime, City Newspaper, Rochester Business Journal and 585 Magazine.
