Favorite Rochester Gem: Friday night dinner at Dorado’s off of Park Ave
Bio: I’ve lived in Rochester all my life, and know just about every hidden spot in this city. I’m a McQuaid Jesuit graduate and have a bachelor’s degree in MIS from RIT. Currently, I'm an Account Executive at CloudCheckr - a fast growing tech company in Rochester. My family is small, and we’re all very close – my parents live in Florida, my brother and nephew live in Webster, and I live with my dog/princess, Addy. I am extremely passionate about connecting with people, building lasting relationships, and offering value to the lives of others while asking for nothing in return. Volunteering is a big part of my life as well. I am involved with four amazing organizations in Rochester with the purpose of doing one thing: changing someone’s life for the better. My favorite motto is, “Dream Big, Live Bold”.

Bio: I am originally from central Texas (y'all), and since moving here in the fall of 2017 I have quickly come to discover how special of a city Rochester is. Favorite Rochester Gem: Charlotte Beach
Bio: I grew up in Western NY and settled in Rochester after Graduating from SUNY Geneseo with a BA in Economics in 2007. Originally Rochester was a jumping off point to somewhere else, but as I explored everything the city has to offer, I decided to make it my home and settled downtown with my two dogs, Zeus and Athena. I found my passion for helping people through the financial services industry, and formed the Women’s Advisory Group in 2018. I also serve on the board of the South Wedge Planning Committee, where I strive to make a difference through volunteering and planning community events.

We moved up here in 2014 and love the mix of city living with gorgeous surroundings. I enjoy nights out at some great local spots, riding my motorcycle, playing golf, and playing tennis. I’m a car enthusiast, I enjoy going to car meets, and I try to go to an international auto show every year.
Hometown: Mahwah, NJ
Favorite Rochester Gem: Corbett’s Glen for hiking, trail running, and splashing in the summer. I love getting in my runs through the trails and loops but feel guilty every time I leave my pup at home as he LOVES swimming and playing in the water, and I don’t mind the splashing either.
Bio: Growing up in Northern New Jersey, I was raised in the hustle and bustle of New York City and never loved it. Moving to Rochester, thanks to the influence of my sister, allowed my husband and I the opportunity to reap the benefits of city living while still enjoying a gateway to the outdoors thanks to the finger lakes region, Lake Ontario, and the not too far away Adirondack mountains. I’ve loved being able to settle in and start creating roots in an amazing area of the country while working as a Chiropractic Assistant in Brighton. When not working, I can usually be found outside running, biking, Stand Up Paddleboarding, or snowboarding (in the winter). I also work part-time for LL Bean’s Outdoor Discovery School teaching kayaking and Stand Up Paddleboard classes on beautiful Canandaigua Lake all summer long.

Favorite Rochester Gem: Good Luck
I grew up in a military family, both my parents served in the Air Force so I’ve been fortunate enough to live in a lot of different areas at a young age (Ohio, Italy, North Carolina and settled in NY). I graduated from Keuka College with a degree in organizational communication and minored in marketing, I played 4 years of soccer while at Keuka and continue to play now in the RDSL. After graduation I spent several years as a contractor working with small businesses developing their brands, marketing strategies, and advertising efforts. In my current role I build relationships with people in the community and finds areas of opportunity to grow our business. I am responsible for designing our marketing materials, advertising, website development and recruiting. I also serve as an Ambassador for the Small Business Council of Rochester. I currently live in Irondequoit with my dog, Xena. When I’m not playing soccer, golfing or hunting, I’m typically trying a new restaurant/ brewery/ distillery/ winery with my girlfriend and looking for our next place to travel to.

Current Job: Associate Director of Recruitment for Executive & Professional Programs – Simon Business School
Bio: Graduating from SUNY Brockport in 2013 was the start on my professional journey. Through my final semester I worked part time as an accounting intern at a local manufacturer's representative. Upon graduation, I was offered a position as a staff accountant for the company, after serving eight months in this role, the current controller was transitioned to another part of the business and I took control of the firm's finances (the first non-family member in this role). After two years in this role, the owner of the business decided he wanted to open an insurance agency as something to work on once he retired. Not having the time to dedicate to the agency, the owner had me develop and implement the business plan. Over the next three years and having no industry experience, I built the agency to close to 400 customers and recognition as one of the top Farmers Insurance agencies in the region. In 2018, I joined the Executive & Professional programs office at the Simon Business School as their Associate Director of Recruitment both for a new challenge and to earn my MBA from a prestigious university. Now two years in, I can confidently say this move has been the best decision in my professional life as it has unlocked a whole set of skills/interests that I had yet to discover.
