RYP Red Wings Night “Dual of the Dishes” & Summer Solstice Social

Come celebrate the “longest day of the year” with friends and other young professionals at Rochester Young Professionals night with the Rochester Red Wings. RYP Sports is teaming up with RYP Social for a pre-game happy hour at the Genesee Brewhouse. We will then take the short walk across the High Falls pedestrian bridge to watch one of Rochester’s favorite teams take on rival Syracuse.
The game will feature Red Wings “alter ego” the Rochester Plates, named after the iconic Rochester dish. Of course, Syracuse could not let Rochester have all the fun and will be featuring one of their favorite foods adding some additional FLAVOR to this rivalry in what is being referred to as the Dual of the Dishes.
First pitch is at 7:05. To take advantage of RYP’s group ticket pricing of $9.50. Reserve your tickets by emailing sports@r-y-p.org by June 14th. Tickets can also be purchased at the Red Wings box office day of. However, there are a limited number of seats in the RYP section, so to take advantage of the group pricing discount and to ensure you are sitting in our section, reserve your tickets by June 14th.
The pregame happy hour will begin at 5:30 inside the beautiful Outside Beer Garden of the Genesee Brewhouse with beers starting at just $3. Anyone who plans on attending both the game and social should park in the stadium parking lots.
June is also Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. To show support for those and their loved ones who are impacted by this disease, the Genesee Brew House is partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association the day of the event. Be sure to mention it to your server, and 15% of proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association. Also, the Alzheimer’s Association will be hosting its annual Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Night at Frontier Field. This event recognizes families affected by Alzheimer’s, volunteers and advocates, and promotes brain health.
